Send a support request
Use this form. We answer by email from notify@law.cat, usually within two business days. Use the email address on your LawCat account so we can find it.
Please include
- what you were trying to do and what happened instead;
- your state, and the page or tool you were using (for the AI connector, whether you were in ChatGPT or Claude); and
- a screenshot of any error message, if you have one.
Please don’t include sensitive details. Never send a Social Security number, account numbers, passwords or complete court documents in a request. We will never ask for them.
Common requests
Signing in
Use “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in screen or sign in with an email link. If neither arrives, check spam, then send us a request.
Your documents
Your forms are in your LawCat account under Documents. Tell us the state and form name if something looks wrong.
ChatGPT and Claude
Setup steps, tools and limits are on Use LawCat in ChatGPT and Claude. Direct New York packet generation is held pending review. Previously issued draft download links expire after 24 hours; use the LawCat workspace or ask support about available preparation options.
Disconnect an assistant
Remove LawCat in your assistant’s connector settings, or send us a request to revoke every connection on your account.
Delete your data
Send a request from your account address and ask us to delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for your rights.
Talk to an attorney
LawCat can’t give legal advice. In your LawCat account, choose “Talk to an attorney” to book with an attorney in the LawCat network.
What we can’t help with
LawCat is a document-preparation service, not a law firm. Support can help with how LawCat works, but we can’t tell you which forms to file, what to ask the court for, or how a rule applies to your case. For that, talk to an attorney or your court’s self-help center.
