How long does an uncontested divorce take in New York?

You must serve your spouse within 120 days of filing. If your spouse signs the Affirmation of Defendant (UD-7), you can file the rest of the papers right away; if they are served and don’t respond, you wait 40 days. After that, the time depends on the court: New York does not publish an official processing time.
